Who is Children’s Community School?
CCS is a non-profit elementary school in Van Nuys dedicated to providing an excellent progressive education to a diverse student body.  CCS in an independent school and all donations are fully tax deductible to the extent allowable by law. (Federal Tax ID Number 95-3901313)

What is Chairman of the Board?
It’s our annual fundraiser that changes themes each year.  This year’s theme, Chairman of the Board, is in honor of George Wyner (see Our Honoree for more information about George).

What happens at the event?
It’s a party with CCS parents! It’s a party with friends!  It’s an online auction! It’s a silent auction! It’s live music!  It’s dinner! It’s comedy! It’s a LIVE auction! It’s raising money for the CCS mission!  It’s fun! It’s YOU!

Why do we do this?
To cover almost 5% of CCS’s annual operating budget which helps fund CCS vigorous financial aid program, our long-time teaching staff, amazing field trips and much more! To find out more about Children’s Community School, click here.
